Visual storytelling to secure partnerships and showcase innovation

Untitled-1

Since 2023, we have been CHOP's trusted partner, providing visual content for scientific conferences to help CHOP raise awareness about its cutting-edge pediatric programs and clinical trials and attract investment.

So, we had to create an engaging and scientifically accurate animated video (3D MoA) explaining their therapies' mechanism of action against neurological diseases, lymphatic anomalies and others. The project involved the full-cycle development of high-quality animation, including scriptwriting, storyboard creation, and final rendering.

Target audience: hospitals, scientists, doctors.

Projects scope

CHOP is the nation's first hospital devoted exclusively to caring for children, established in 1855. Today, The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is one of the leading pediatric hospitals and research facilities in the world.

3D medium animation

CHOP develops in-utero technology to modify babies' DNA during pregnancy and prevent possible diseases like muscular atrophy.

We focus on a gene-editing procedure. targeting genetic anomalies in fetus.

First, LNP is suspended in liquid in a syringe. Then, the syringe pierces mother’s abdomen and you see the pierced umbilical cord. FInally, LNP suspension is injected to fetal bloodstream.

This is the LNP (Liquid NanoPartice). LNPs varies from 60-150 nm (nanometers). The size depends on the components and the manufacturing methods. However, the typical LNP is around 80nm.

All payloads are incorporated inside the LNPs. We focus on mRNA and guide RNA (a short sequence of around 100 nucleotides or building blocks) as the payload.

The outside coating is Polyethylene glycol (PEG) with a molecular weight of 2000. The number of PEG molecules on the surface is around 3000.

Animation in detail

"This year marks the seventh year that the UAE EHS has invited CHOP to exhibit its pediatric innovation alongside EHS colleagues."

Arab Health 2025.

Our first project with CHOP for Arab Health 2023. The animation introduces CHOP's Microbubble Frontier Program, targeted gene delivery.

The animation demonstrates inert gas Xenon release through the blood-brain barrier to facilitate contrast imaging of brain ischemia.

First project

We also developed a standalone Web Progressive Application that is device-agnostic, can be launched and installed on clients' devices, works offline, and also functions like a regular website to demonstrate CHOP's research in vascular anomalies, including symptoms and treatment options.

It took us 6 weeks of the entire cycle to develop the app.
